About us
Our mission
Association Apnée is a free information platform about sleep apnea and other sleep disorders in Belgium, with sources for everything it says.
Our goal is simple: to make it easier for people with sleep apnea in Belgium to find information and get care. An estimated 80% of cases are still undiagnosed, and clear information can change a life.

Sleep technologist specialized in CPAP therapy · More than 10 years in sleep medicine
This project rests on more than ten years of clinical work in the sleep laboratory and on a close knowledge of CPAP equipment. That double perspective, clinical and technical, is what Association Apnée is built on.
Our values
Scientific rigor
Medical information links back to its sources: published studies, clinical guidelines, official texts. No sensationalism, no misinformation.
Editorial independence
No brand pays for space in our content. How the site is funded, and the author's conflicts of interest, are disclosed on the transparency page.
Written for patients
No needless jargon: clear, caring explanations anyone can follow, written for the person living with the condition.
Roadmap
Our vision for 2026-2028
Association Apnée is being built in three phases, each one laying the groundwork for the next: from writing the content to official recognition.
